- Edgewood offers over 130 courses, including Honors, Accelerated, and Advance Placement courses.
- In recent years, 1/3 of juniors and 1/2 of seniors have taken at least one of the 12 AP course offered, up 25% in the last five years. Over 3/4 of them score a 3 or above on the exam, making them eligible for college credit. This figure is up nearly 50% in the last five years and is considerably higher than state and national averages.
- Edgewood offers two programs for students with learning challenges; about 25% of all EHS students participate in one of these programs in a given year.
- With an average of virtually 100% of Edgewood students taking the ACT college admissions test, EHS consistently scores 2.5-3 over the state average and 3.5-4 points over the national average.
- Over the last five years, over 95% of EHS graduates have gone on to higher education, over 90% to a four-year college or university.
