25% OF EHS STUDENTS BENEFIT FROM TWO PROGRAMS THAT HELP WITH LEARNING CHALLENGES OR DISABILITIES:
The Academic Success Program (ASP)
ASP is a guided, enhanced study hall that gives students extra encouragement and academic support, specifically with study skills, organizational skills and test-taking techniques. About one in 20 EHS students uses this service. There is no charge for the ASP.
Learning Resource Center (LRC)
The Learning Resource Center offers in-school instruction and support services to students with learning disabilities and/or students who simply benefit from supplemental instruction in one or more subject areas. About 20% of EHS students use this service. The LRC maintains a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio. There is a charge for the LRC.
