Chief Koval to Speak at Edgewood

Faith, Family and Service: An Evening with Chief Koval
Mike KovalMadison Police Chief Mike Koval will speak on issues facing the community and parents, reflect on his own spirituality, and answer questions during a talk and presentation on Wednesday, December 6, in Edgewood's auditorium.

Chief Koval plans to talk about how faith impacts his vocation, and address some key issues facing the Madison community. He will reflect on the importance of a strong family, explain whether human trafficking is an issue in Madison, and give an update on gang activity. Chief Koval will also inform parents and students on what they need to know about the opioid addiction, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. 

Koval is a graduate of West High School, and graduated with a BA in Journalism from UW-Madison. He has a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. He has been police chief since 2014.

This event is free and open to the public, and is from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
