The Annual Fund is our yearly request for donations from all parents, alumni, and friends of the school. Like other religious, independent schools, EHS must provide student aid for families with low to moderate incomes, maintain facilities, attract and retain exceptional teachers and regularly update technology. The EHS Annual Fund raises money to fulfill all of these purposes.
Notably, the Annual Fund helps Edgewood provide approximately $600,000 in need-based financial aid, without which many families would not be able to afford an Edgewood education.

WHO GIVES TO THE ANNUAL FUND?
Individuals both in- and outside the school community give. A notable portion of contributions comes from parents and grandparents of current students, alumni, parents of alumni, board of trustee members and other friends. All members of the Board of Trustees contribute to the Annual Fund.
Parents are encouraged to make EHS their highest philanthropic priority while their children are students here.

HOW MUCH DOES THE ANNUAL FUND DRIVE RAISE, AND HOW?
Last year, Annual Fund efforts raised over $725,000 to support EHS students. Annual Fund contributions are raised through these programs:
(Please note: Once a current family makes a gift or pledge to the Annual Fund through the Parent Pledge, Four-Front or Phon-a-thon, they no longer receive Annual Fund solicitations for the balance of the school's fiscal year (July-June). Families may still receive requests for support from the EHS Athletic Association or the Music Boosters Association, and may receive invitations to EHS fund raising events.)

- Year End (December) Appeal: The Year End Appeal is a reminder for our current
families, alumni and friends that their support enables EHS to bridge the
"financial gap" and to retain the quality of educational
experience that has set

Appeal is an opportunity for
donors to make a tax deductible
gift before the
end of the tax year.
- Phon-a-thon (Jan., Feb.):
- Spring Appeal: As Edgewood nears the end of its fiscal year, we ask alumni,
current parents, parents of alumni, and friends to consider making a gift
before June 30. This appeal not only
provides donors with one last opportunity to contribute to
the Annual Fund but also helps EHS balance its
budget and plan accurately for the next school year.

HOW LARGE A GIFT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Every gift counts! In the past, our average gift has been $125, with most gifts in the $25-$250 range. Some are capable of a larger gift. By contributing to the Annual Fund, you transform your desire to help students with financial need into an exceptional, faith-filled education for those students. Whatever you can give, your participation is vital and so much appreciated!
